Steve Jobs has done it again. First the iPhone and now the iPad. According to some estimates, over half a million iPads have been pre-ordered. So, what’s all the hype about? Is iPad all that spectacular or is Steve Jobs just good at building up excitement and anticipation? Well, I will let you be the judge. Let’s dive in and see what all Apple’s new brainchild, the iPad, has to offer.

First, this a powerful hand-held device. It does not matter if you are a gamer, a business professional or an avid web-surfer, the iPad can handle it. It has a very sleek and stylish design that will catch anyone’s eye. It only weighs 1.5 pounds. Not only that, it’s extremely user-friendly. It makes surfing the web a piece of cake.

Well, just tap and go. And with its revolutionary, 9.7-inch, high-resolution, Multi-Touch screen, you will be able to view the whole web page without any problems. It’s just like your PC, but smaller and much more capable. The iPad gives you a good web-surfing experience. But that’s not all you can do with the iPad. You can also view photos, watch movies, download music, read books and much more, all with the tap of your finger. A lot you need is right in your hands, literally.

And the iPad can run over 140,000 apps that are available in the apps store and it can also run the apps that you have already downloaded onto your iPhone.

If you love to read, then you will love Apple’s new iPad. The Apple iPad comes with a new app called iBooks. It is free to download and it allows you to browse and shop for books any time you want to. To open the iBooks app, just tap it with your index finger. Once it is open, you will see your bookshelf. On the bookshelf, you will find all of your books. Tap on the one you wish to read and it will open- so you can read it.

If you want to purchase more books, simply tap the store button, which is located in the upper left hand corner, and the bookshelf will turn around. You will then be in the ibookstore. In ibookstore, you are able to browse books by title, author or genre. When you find a book you like, just tap it to get more details and information about the book. Once you buy a book, it automatically appears on your bookshelf for you to read at your convenience.

But wait, it gets even better. When you are ready to read the book, you hold the iPad just like a book, and you start reading. When you finish a page, you turn to the next one just like you would in case it is a “physical” book. Simply place your finger on the bottom of the page and slowly drag from right to left. You can read the book in either landscape or portrait mode. Whatever suits you. You can also change the text size and the font. And if that wasn’t enough, iBooks also work with voiceover which is the screen reader in the iPad. So if you don’t feel like reading, it will read it out to you.

The Bluetooth revolution has finally arrived! Many of you car audio specialist have been probably waiting upon this for years. The Bluetooth function, which was originally used in phones and laptops to connect devices together in order to receive data, has finally made its way to car audio systems – mainly the car CD Mp3 player as you probably already know. This little ingenious device lets you access your phone without touching a single button or screen! Bluetooth is in fact a child of the 90’s. In 1994, five of the major communication companies, including the Scandinavian company Ericsson; Toshiba, IBM, Nokia and Intel got together and made Ericsson’s invention (Bluetooth) a reality.
