Acer announced the high performance LCD monitor “Acer G24” The gamer’s LCD monitor with best contrast. Its world’s first widescreen display that provide an impressive contrast ratio of 50,000 :1.
This LCD widescreen is clearly designed for gamers, and provides a resolution of 1920×1200, a response time of 2ms, Acer CrystalBrite technology, and a brightness of 400cd/m².
Featuring the Acer OD (overdrive) technology that significantly improves gray-to-gray levels by reducing deviation in transition time while the rapid response time (up to 2 ms) permits immersive 3D graphics and video display . Users simply connect the G24 to Blue-ray Disc consoles or DVD players for an awesome cinematic experience.
The manufacturer adds advanced multimedia connectivity features that optimised for the Windows Vista operating system and supports HDMI for “instant connectivity to DVD players, set-top boxes and HD game consoles. It also adds Acer’s eColor Management that easy for configure color parameters, and reduce ambient light reflections.
The copper colour is metallic orangey, tells you immediately that this monitor is going to be a little different from Acer’s usual fare.
